ACOP L8 Risk Assessments

The ACOP L8(2001) for Legionella control requires those with the statutory duty, to carry out an assessment of the risk of Legionellosis.

The person responsible can carry out the assessment themselves if they have the necessary competency. Most call upon the services of their water treatment service provider or an independent assessor.

The Bayly L8 Risk Assessment is a comprehensive document which reviews not only the plant & equipment on site but also how the plant is operated, controlled and managed.

The costs are dependant of the work involved but typically range from £ 500 to £ 1200. Our standard assessment report includes 1 master copy and a review copy. A pdf version will be emailed within 10 days of the site visit. For an additional charge, we produce a CD-ROM of the report, recommendations, photographs, drawings etc - all prepared like a web site (great to pass on to the non-technical managers/accountants).
